Dr. Susan M. Hurley-Glowa

Susan Hurley-Glowa holds a PhD and MA in ethnomusicology from Brown University, and degrees in performance from SUNY Potsdam (BM), University of Louisville (MM), and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg, Germany. Her research interests include Luso-Africa, Latin America, and Alaska Native music cultures. She teaches ethnomusicology and Western art music course at UTRGV at the graduate and undergraduate level.
