Dr. Jihoon Kang

Dr. Kang is an environmental scientist and geologist who has specialization in soil science, agricultural engineering, water/air quality, and environmental geology.

    • Environmental Soil Science/Geology
    • Fate and transport of nutrients and contaminants in plant-soil-water system and watershed
    • Soil and water remediation (compost, biochar and other agro-industrial & municipal waste materials toward soil amendment and contaminant removal)
    • Water technology, innovation and sustainability (nutrient & energy recovery, reclaimed water reuse, and constructed wetland)
    • Advanced sediment and erosion control using flocculant
