Dr. Jerry Fischer

Dr. Fischer earned a doctorate in Rehabilitation from Southern Illinois University in 1992, a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Montana State University -Billings in 1990, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1979 from Montana Tech.. Dr. Fischer is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered LPC Supervisor. Dr. Fischer was an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Idaho in 1993 and then was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 1999, and then was promoted to the rank of Professor in 2004. He was the Chair of Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Texas Pan-American 2009-2012. He is now the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Ph.D Coordinator of Rehabilitation Counseling since 2012,
