Dr. Colin Charlton

Dr. Colin Charlton received his PhD from Purdue University in 2005, and has worked at UTPA/UTRGV ever since. He is a Professor of Rhetoric & Composition in UTRGV's Department of Writing & Language Studies. As Chair of the department, he leads and supports an innovative team of teacher-scholars in the areas of First Year Writing, Language Acquisition, Linguistics, Rhetoric & Composition, and Spanish.
